Across the way in the same mall is a place called Little Sheep - Chinese name, Xiao Fei Yang - (little fat sheep). The sign says it specializes in Inner Mongolian hot pot (nei Menggu Huo Guo). I don't know how this differs from the "rinsed" mutton -Shuan Yang Rou - at Deerfield or Homestyle restaurant. Looked interesting and quite elegant inside. A place for me or someone else to explore. Grand opening signs up.

They have been open for 3 months, but need customers.
Tried it for lunch today - absolutely dazzling!
Two of us had the combination spicy/non-spicy broths which contain a variety of Chinese spices that the lady could not give English names for (except ginseng and galangal and dragon something?), with marbled beef and lamb, baby bok choy, pei lan mushrooms (a truly gorgeous meaty mushroom when cooked in broth, raw it looks like thickly sliced turkey breast), bean thread noodles, pea tips and a side order of the most delicious spicy pork dumplings I have ever had.
Somewhat expensive splurge for lunch - $30. They also served marinated peanuts, daikon slices and a special bread before you order, and we also had hot tea. Food was enough to feed 4 people at the minimum.
