My wife and I just had a lovely meal at the blue spoon in Portland as we wrapped up our vacation. It was recommended by the woman at the '9 Months' store. We had a wonderful scallops starter, and I had a fish stew and my wife had 'chicken under a brick'. It's a small little neighborhood type place, service was great and we had a wonderful time. My eyes nearly bugged out when the bill came: a similar dinner in DC or NYC would have been at least twice what we paid. It reminded us both of Cashions (the food did, anyway) in DC. Any Portlanders know it?
