Blue on Blue: stay away!

EXTREMELY noisy Thursday night (4/15).
Napkins folded to narrow bands in lieu of tablecloth, on plastic tabletops.
Butter lettuce salad ($11) totally tasteless.
Spinach arugula salad ($10)entirely overpowered by honey-bacon marmeladeish dressing.
Two filet mignons ($37 a piece) ordered medium, came less than rare. A confit duck ($27) tasted rather old chicken.
Decent lavender creme brulee ($9) & forgetable banana bread ($9) only showed up after we cancelled due to long wait & asked for the bill. Avoid the pink grapefruit sorbet ($6), 100% syrup.
Mediocre wine list with outrageous -for the place- corkage fee($25).
Place full, party going on at the pool, very small & overworked staff.
Total bill for 3, including large pellegrino ($8.50) and corkage, excluding tax & tip: $179.50. Definitely not worth it.
A very appropiate line from the Gayot review below says it all: This place is definitely more about scene than cuisine.
