Bloomington, IN. snow lion

I live in Bloomington now and had heard quite a bit of local talk about the Snow Lion - Tibetan joint. Also, only recently did I find out about this website. So I noticed remarks both good and bad about the Snow Lion in Bloomington. Having tried it recently, I'd have to say that the Snow Lion serves really lousy food. Their problem seemingly lies in starting with bad ingredients. What they serve is no better than a frozen stir fry mix.

Be very skeptical of what folks down in this area consider good food. Some of their favorites include denny's and they think pizza hut is good pizza. These folks also think that anything expensive is good like a steakhouse here called Little Zagreb, another one I saw mentioned. At this place you'll get a good, aged steak - real tender, but not cooked to be as good as it could be - no charring on the outside, just a wet piece of meat. You can't get anything good with it either. The salad's just a pile of iceberg and if you want blue cheese dressing it'll cost you extra. No double baked potatoes, and the regular baked potato you get is just a little thing with nothing on it and you have to pay extra if you want sour cream. Yeah, but the steak was allright though.
