Bleuss Meats Cortland, Re-opened?

susancinsf | Jun 10, 200609:32 PM     2

I was always under the impression that Bleuss Meats on Cortland near Bocana was long closed: there was a nice, old fashioned sign, but nothing else...

then we started noticing signs of activity a few weeks ago, as if the place were being remodeled. Hubby got excited that perhaps his dream of a good place for a burger or even a steak in walking distance was going to come true (even though I figured that asking for more than La Ciccia in place of the old Verona Pizza was just plain unrealistic), but actually, it seems that he's found what could be the next best thing: it is indeed a meat shop again, and was open this am when I drove by. Unfortunately, I was late to an appointment, so didn't check out the offerings, but it looked promising based on a quick glance.

Has anyone tried it or know more?
