bleu drawes

At at Bleu Drawes Cafe (97 Commercial St. between Manhattan Ave. and Box St.)in Greenpoint over the weekend and it was really great. had the cod cakes (crispy and delicious, though a little expensive for what you get), jerk chicken and oxtail, as well as rice and peas, plantains and "greens" which were really a sort of slaw. For dessert, had "blue drawes", a sweet potato/coconut milk dish that looks awful (we dubbed it "zombie on a plate") but tastes amazing. This place is such a nice change of pace for Greenpoint, where Thai or Polish food seems to often be the only option.
