Last week we took shelter from the pizza conflicts and went to John's for a nice pie. It was nice. After the pizza we,as usual, crossed the street to Second Childhood, the antique toy store which is has always been the closest thing a place can be to a great chowhound spot without food. It seemed to show signs of closing. Monday we went to Murray's Cheese for a press sandwich, which was excellent (Isuggest a sprinkle of vinagar) on a cold day. We walked past Second Life which was empty of toys. In the window was a toy world journal from the 1970's featuring the owner looking much as does now.
