NIce cocktail program and attentive knowledgeable bar staff, which is where we ate. Maybe 10 bar seats, warm ambiance. Really, really good bread and comes from LaVallee's bakery in Waltham. Butter is butter, I know... but I sure like it when a place adds some honey, or does something a little special to it. My dc will order the rich and tender Coq Au Vin again, love it when you get the nice veggies in the sauce. We also devoured the ratatouille, such a good side and this place does it beautifully. Let me say I've had Steak frites all over the Boston area. It is good at Duet, and hopefully room is found for improvement. The sauce was really good I just needed more of it. The bavette steak is fine, cooked perfect MR. For me, it comes down to the frites, which again are fine, just unspectacular, like why am I eating something calorie naughty if it is just middle of the road. I would like to see this place do a beet salad on the menu or offer as a special and see how it goes. We will definitely go back. The carrot and ginger soup looked awesome, it was a special and I wish I tried it.
