On a recent trip to your fine city I had a darn good bisi bele bath at Udupi Palace on Devon--this is a Bangalore rice dish, sort of an Indian risotto. They key to a good bisi bele is everything blends togehter, none of its complex spices dominates. Is there a better version of this dish in Chicago Indian restaurants?
ps. also had some darn good pastries at Argo bakery down the street.
