I have reached adulthood. I will be cooking my first Thanksgiving EVER for 15 family members, all chowhounds used to my mom's perfection. Yikes...I'm feeling a little chowpupish for task...I thought I'd turn to the serious hounds for help:
1. Where's your favorite place in the Bay Area to get The Bird? (I'll go as far as Sonoma...)
2. Where's the best place to get a seriously great roasting pan? and what do you think the best pan is? Copper? All-Clad? (might as well use this as an excuse to get great tools :-)
***3. Most importantly, what are some of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes? Everyone will be visiting from out of the area--I'd love to show off what a great culinary city San Francisco is.
