This was also in the Korean Food Truck thread, but I thought it big enough news to justify its own thread.
If you have had the chance to try their stuff at the Audobon Farmer's Market on Mondays or College Park Market on Thursdays you'll know that getting broader access to their food is fantastic.
Here's the text from their Email newsletter - go sign up for the weekly email anyway to keep track of this news plus their market comings and goings.
Big Wheel is doing a Food Truck! We need Your Help Though!
This past week, we have had a hard time keeping out mouths quiet about the next big thing to come to Orlando, the Big Wheel Mobile Food Truck! That's right, we're hitting the road!
We have bought a truck, and now just need to fix it up a bit, and before you know it, we will be in various locations all throughout Orlando at all different times, bringing you local food in the normal Big Wheel fashion!
So, if you believe in what we do on a regular basis, please consider helping join our fight to bring local food to you at least 6 days a week by checking out our project on Kickstarter.com. What's that? A very cool website which helps people fund their projects by making sure that supporters are going to donate 100% of the project's goals and needs before anyone's money is taken. If our project isn't funded in the 30 day time limit we have set, than none of the people who pledge donations will have to donate, and our project will not be funded.
But we know there are plenty of you guys out there who believe in us, believe that Local is Lovely, and believe that Orlando is ready for more of what we have to offer. Otherwise, you wouldn't still be reading this, would you?
Thanks in advance for any support you can give, either financially, or just simply by posting or sharing this project and link with anyone who believes in real food, local ingredients, and supporting people who love what they do and work hard at it.
Just because this project is in the works though, doesn't mean that our other markets and such will stop. So, that means local food coming to you Thursday night at the College Park Market. Can't wait to share more details with you there!
PS Also, look for last minute additions to our list on Twitter & Facebook, and actually find us and get the goods at the College Park Market on Thursday nights, and at the Audubon Park Market on Mondays.
