bien manger on upper west side

maria bennett | Dec 5, 199705:07 PM

walked past this little place for eons-les routiers on
amsterdam (87-8). late nite hungries got me a great
roasted tomato/eggplant soup, duck with a killer
cranberry-balsamic glaze, and a shot of my favorite
cognac, brillet, for 3.75. whole dinner was less than
one course at aureole, and soft lights and dynamite
waitstaff made me feel like i was back in the 5th
arrondissement.
