I'm on a bike this weekend, and determined to try some of LA's renowned Korean food. I've looked through the posts and Shigol Ssam Bap (also known as Si Gol) sounds great. I'm not really a beef/pork person but all the leaves seem interesting. Is there anything I should check out along the way? I'm thinking of going up Santa Monica Boulevard and then cutting over on Melrose or Beverley but, from a chowhound perspective, are there streets or neighbourhood that I should not miss? This would be a day long kind of thing.
