Having relocated to San Francisco from the East Bay, which is the home of a number of well known BBQ joints (Flynt's, Everett & Jones, Dougs), I'm wondering where the best BBQ is in SF without crossing the Bay Bridge. I've been numerous times to Big Nate's, which with a few exceptions (off nights?) has been very good (meaty ribs, good sauce) and have also tried Memphis Minnie's (good brisket but sauce a bit lackluster and thin) and more upscale MacArthur Park (not bad but more commercial and sauce not up to par). Any other suggestions for BBQ in SF, particularly for pork ribs would be appreciated.
