On our way to Walla Walla, we spent the night in Bend, OR at the Shiloh Inn and Suites (very nice). Their restaurant is a "Carolina barbeque" place called Smokin'Swine Publick (sic)House (there is also one in Salem). We had the ribs which you can get wet or dry (we got them dry and added some of the sauces on the table), the pulled pork, cornbread with cinnamon honey butter, and the collard greens (cooked with bits of ham hocks). They have a ton of other stuff but a person can only eat so much! Everthing was great, although the cornbread was the sweet, cakey style which I don't personally like. While neither of us are bbq experts, we do know what tastes good, and this definitely did. Certainly worth checking out.
