Barney Greengrass -- patrons are smoked along with the fish

Enjoyed the usual -- sturgeon on everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese, onion and tomato -- but was dismayed that it has become customary to be overwhelmed with burnt toast smoke in the first dining room. The smoke was so pervasive that my eyes were actually tearing up and my coat smells like a baker's dozen.

While we love this UWS institution and temple of smoked appetizing, was wondering if any other hounds feels that Greengrass could use an updated ventillation system?
