Barbecue Sauces

I'm trying to expand my son's (he's 18) barbecue sauce horizons. He does his baby back pork ribs like this - Smokes them in his "Big Chief" smoker over hickory for one hour; Cooks them in a propane two sided weber grill indirectly (the heated burner on very low over pan of water)on the side without the flame for 5-6 hours; Slathers them with Sweet Baby Ray's Hot barbecue sauce (can be bought at most grocery stores) for another hour; Eats every single morsel that falls right off the bones. Pretty neat for a young kid, huh? Any suggestions?
