BAM + budding romance = ???

Hi All,

I find myself in the rare position of falling head over heels just as the holidays are set to kick in! Within a magical whirlwind of a couple of weeks, we have had sumptuous feasts at Hearth, Mermaid Inn, DOC, and Dumont. We are both food-lovers and romantics-at-heart, each with a keen appreciation for hidden gems and left-of-center jewels. Although we could go to White Castle at this point and practically float out on air, I thought it best to turn to you guys for some BAM area advice. We're catching a flick at BAM tomorrow or Thursday and I'd like to dine nearby afterwards. My first instict was to take her to Locanda et Vini & Olii, but since we're hoofing it rather than driving this is a poor choice in the "ease & comfort" dep't. So, should I check out Scopello or Thomas Beisl? A Table, perhaps? I have heard nothing but great things about Beisl but I am unsure as to whether it is the best choice for a 9:45 PM meal given the weight of the cuisine. Scopello seems to have gotten a lot of mixed reviews here, but no word on it over the last few months. Still, it strikes me as a little more cozy and personal than TB. Also, I have heard much about the virtues of Frank's Cocktail Lounge which is a stone's throw away. Please advise!
