Last eve, I went to Blue Ribbon for oysters. Fresh, redolent of the ocean and expertly opened... Drank a Hefe Weizen, with lemon. Brilliant!
Next, in the journey came "Curry in a Hurry"
I would never have gone here, especially after those oysters. But I was meeting extra-cheap friends, (friends who would rather spend 3 dollars on dinner)
The curries here are very flavorful, but stay away from the vegetables. They were s.o.s. a plate of glop.
The nan bread was fine, the spiced rice undercooked, but the baby lamb curry, sublime. Only 3 small pieces of succulent spiced joy.
I have a food hangover today.
