Had dinner at Auriga (Mpls.) Saturday night, thanks to recommendation from this board. It was great! Excellent Caeser salad, slow-roasted chicken, and sea bass. (Cheese plate was kind of weird. Expected sampler. Instead got single soft cheese with potato belini (sp?). I should have inquired before ordering. It was fine, just not what I expected.) Chicken on bed of swiss chard was special, really flavorful. Sea bass was extremely good, with polenta and pine nuts. Fresh fish flavor not overwhelmed. Pleased with prices (and wines) on wine list. Just wish we'd saved room for dessert. Service was just right - not rushed, but attentive. Atmosphere was perfect - not at all pretentious. Total bill with tip - about $90. (And I made some cabbies night. Fare was $6. I handed him a 10 (I thought), told him to keep 2. Got out of car and my wife pointed out I'd given him a $20.
