Auriga in Minneapolis

I am a Boston hound at a conference in Minneapolis right now, and since this is my first time here, I was desperately searching this board over lunch to get dinner recommendations. As always chowhounds came to the rescue. Auriga seemed to be getting great reviews so that's where we went. It was a wonderful meal! A friend of mine and I shared lemon risotto with tallegio (sp?) and radishes for an appetizer. It was a lovely spring dish -- very lemony and creamy. Radishes were just perfect with it. We asked to share our entree of pork shank since we were not very hungry, and the thoughful staff plated it on two plates for us. The pork was not fall-of-the-bone, but very tender and flavorful. The best part of this dish however were the side dishes of cauliflower puree, asparagus, and wild mushrooms with a rich meaty reduction sauce. The other person in our group got a fish special which was atlantic salmon with spicy carrot salad, artichokes, and shellfish sauce. I got a bit of salmon and it was excellent -- very succulent and moist. We each had a glass of wine. They had a good selection of wines by the glass at very reasonable prices ($5-8). The pork was $19. Salmon was $21. Risotto was $12, but it was definitely big enough to share as an appetizer. Most appetizers were around $7-9. If I lived in Minneapolis, I'd go back, and often.
