Au Pied Du Cochon vs Chez L'epicier...and Pastries

First, please forgive me for my ignorance. But if i can have only one meal to try some genuine Montreal crusine? Which one should I try? APDC or Chez L'epicier?

Also, it's well known that Montreal has some of the most fantastic pastries/bread outside France. Can someone please give me a short introduction of what kinds of special pastries are available in Montreal and where should I go to get those? Thanks!
