This year's Atlantic Antic is to happen on the last Sunday in September. This is one *big* street fair, and while it's got its share of commercialized Italian sausage and funnelcake booths, it's definitely a neighborhood thing with an Arabic accent.
The restaurants and some food stores from Henry to Court Street put out tables in front with all kinds of finger food, and in past years there's also been an open-sided truck with belly dancers and appropriate music parked on the avenue.
The fair extends from Hicks Street in the west to over the horizon in the east, I've never ventured much beyond Court Street, but then there's been more than enough to keep me busy and full in just those two blocks.
