Atlanta--places you pass a million times/Contigu Peru Norcross

Complacency is so easy in auto-centric Atlanta. So, what places are you guys passing that you finally give a try?

Contigu Peru--P'tree Industrial just southeast of the intersection of Winters Chapel just south of the Quicktrip C-store, a place I pass almost daily both weekdays and weekends, going on three years.

Finally stopped in for lunch today, and had very good Arroz Con Mariscos (Rice With Seafood) $7.00 lunch special. Shrimp, squid, octopus, NZ mussel cooked fresh with rice--well spiced and flavored with annato, and some (probably) frozen mixed vegetables. None of the seafood was overcooked, a definite plus. Very pleasant waitron happy to practice her English, accomodating of my traveler's Spanish.

The place itself is large, clean, full bar and large dance floor. The full menu is large too. This definitely requires more investigation--the soups (all entree sized, I imagine) especially. More as we dig in further.
