Apizza Scholls vs sizzle pie

Ok, I know which of these most of you would be leaning towards, as Apizza scholls is more well known, and have more presence in the culinary world of pizza. But between the two I prefer sizzle pie just a little more and its not just because the 1 hour wait that is inevitable at apizza scholls, nor is it the snappy service sometimes you get from the overworked hostess, nor is it because of my nature to always rude for the underdog.

Part of my life I grew up in jersey(close to NYC). I grew up with NY style pizza both from NY and from Jersey. I always preferred the Jersey style just a little more. The sauce seemed a bit sweeter, and the ratio between cheese, dough, and sauce seemed more balanced. Without getting myself off the topic, sizzle pie reminds me of the Jersey style pizza. This is purely my opinion, but I also prefer the crust at sizzle pies. The bitterness from the overly charred (but crispy) crust from apizza scholls can sometimes be overbearing, and overwhelm my taste buds.
