I've always been meaning to try oysters, and never have, but am now resolved to give it a go. As I am quite paranoid about food poisoning (have heard too many horror stories), I would like to try them at a restaurant that has a sterling reputation in handling these slimeys. Hence, I need your advice.
Also: What is the best time of year for eating them? Which kind? Should I try them cooked for the first time?? What should I be prepared for??? Thanks!
