Though a frequent visitor to Mexico City, family commitments have kept me from indulging in the food scene. On this visit, I'd like to take my wife out for our anniversary. I'm looking for something not too fancy - we lean more toward hipster than high-end, though we have no interest in a restaurant's popularity or trendiness. In the past we've loved Azul. But there are so many new restaurants, it's dizzying trying to do the research.
I'm aiming for main plates less than MX$300 and Roma, Condesa, or Centro. One important requirement is having a good selection of craft/micro brews. Any ideas? Thank you!
