Anniversary dinner in Chicago

Ginny S. | Nov 5, 2003 11:25 PM

My husband and I will be staying on Michigan avenue on the weekend before Thanksgiving to celebrate our anniversary. We'd like to go out one night for a nice quiet dinner with really nice atmosphere, service and good food and wine.

I have been reading many posts here and just need some up to the minute help.

We are thinking about the Dining Room at the Ritz. Now I am also wondering about MK, Everest and Les Nomades.

Blackbird sounds like it must be great but probably too loud for what we want.

The Trio and Tru sound a little beyond our style.

What do you think of the food etc. at the Ritz or what about MK, Everest, Les Nomades? Or do you recommend somewhere else?

We are 50 and do like flavorful food and good wine but don't go for real loud and trendy. (We're getting old!!)
