Angelino transplanted ~ need guidance

Well, on All Hallow's Eve, my boyfriend and I picked up our multitude of belongings and moved from LaLaLand (Los Angeles, for those who are unfamiliar with the term), and plopped ourselves down in Suisun City.

"Why," might you ask, "Suisun City?" As it happens, the S.O. and I have been a frequent visitor to both S.F. and the wine country for several years. To the tune of three or four trips a year. Finally, wanting to be employed in the wine industry, we decided to take a chance and move here to find work in Napa. (Suisun City just happens to have cheaper rent and after dealing with a two to three hour A DAY commute in Los Angeles, a little jaunt from Suisun to Napa for a job seems like no big deal).

So here we are, three days into our big adventure. For the time being, we are content eating Trader Joe's frozen items until we unpack our kitchen. After the house is settled, we'll be wanting to head out for great eats. We are familiar with the biggies, having dined at the notables during vacation (Pinot Blanc, Tra Vigne, French Laundrey in the valley and Farallon, Greens, Chez Panise, etc).

Now we want to know about the hole-in-the-walls. Screw the restaurants that get constant coverage by Bon Appetite and Gourmet. Where do you guys eat? I expect we'll be heading towards the city quite often, but immediately, I'm curious about Napa, Fairfield, Davis perhaps.
