Amazing dessert at Vinoteca Poscol (Houston)

DH and I had a delightful late supper last night at Marco Wiles' newish place in the old Cafe Montrose location across the street from Hugo's. The pork sausages (made in house) were flavorful, and I enjoyed my Zonin prosecco. You can buy a 3 oz. or 6 oz. glass of wine, which is nice for someone that might like to sample several wines and still be able to walk out the door later. The best part of the meal, though (and the real reason I'm writing this post), was a marvelous dessert: dates poached in a red wine reduction and served over mascarpone. Worth every calorie. Go: enjoy the sausages, enjoy the wines, do not miss the dates.
