Aldi's Pork Half Loin- Terrible!

Experiences on Aldi's meats?

I live in South Florida and recently did my first shopping at Aldi's. I am not impressed. Seems like a hit or miss. Some produce fresh, some with rotten areas that were hidden. I bought some pork loin chops where nice pork chops were on top but hidden underneath were some ugly ones, full of bones and fat and gristle. But the worst was the Pork Half Loin, which I planned to cut into small roasts. Once I opened the bag and tried to cut the pork, the raw meat was falling apart, just touching it, though it did not smell bad at all. (It was a big roast about 5-6 inches diameter and about 20 inches long. )I cooked a small roast tonight to see how it would be and the meat was tasteless. No meat or pork taste and the meat has a rubbery consistency. The worse pork roast I have ever seen or eaten. It was really weird- it really tasted like nothing. I seasoned it of course, but there was no meat flavor at all.

Anyone else have these issues with Aldi's meat? I also bought a couple of packages of the grass-fed ground beef but I am wondering if I should return those now. I think I will stick with Publix and Costco for meats, even if they are more expensive.

So far, the only thing I liked was the chocolate and the almonds. And the organic navel oranges were okay.
