My wife and I have had the rug pulled from under our feet 3 years in a row now... Hopefully it goes this time!
We are spending 2 weeks all over the place. Seward, Kodiak, Anchorage, Craig on Price of Wales Island...
We are mostly fishing to fill the freezer.
I am timing our trip with the King Salmon runs. But should come home with: clams, shrimp, crab, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish.
It's called fishing not catching so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
We are also doing a bunch sight seeing, the train sounds cool, and the bear excursions sound cool.
Any must dine at restaurants?
Any I should avoid?
I suspect we will be eating a lot of "butter mops" what i call crab!
I hope to post some great pictures and some excellent recipes to round out my trip.
Thanks for reading.
