Dined at Ahi grille in Tampa this evening.
It was actually pretty good. They have a new menu.
My fiancé and I split:
1/2 order of Porcini mushroom pappardelle pasta - $6.00
1/2 order of Stone crab gnocchi - $9.00
1 Caesar salad $5.00
+ they have good beers on tap. $2.00 on Tuesday nights (with some of the profits going to different charitable organizations).
OK. On Monday nights, they have $32 or $33 all you can eat stone crab. They stone crab in the gnocchi dish was sweet and succulent. YES, a bit pricey but the hurricanes and red tide have really taken its toll. The waitress flat out said the prices are high, but their price is high as well.
BUT, for thirty three dollars, I think I just might be able to eat my fare share.
