Acapulco dining

I don't find much on Acapulco in a search. We are here for about a week, aboard our boat, moored at the Yacht Club. So, not limited to just a day or so; we don't have a car but can cab it wherever.

And unlike most posters, we have been living aboard here in Pacific Mexico for over a year, although we're new to Acapulco. In other words, don't need to seek out fresh seafood per se, because we get that many places. Love Mexican food of course, but a change is nice, too. Love ocean views... but we get that on a daily basis :-) Not afraid to get off the gringo path, in fact we far prefer it; not reluctant to go where English isn't spoken. Good value is always important, but we can spend a little or a lot and be happy.

Notwithstanding the above, I've heard of a place called Zibu, near Bahia Marqués, that's Thai-Mexican fusion... anyone have any information or experience?

Standout places ner the zócalo?

I hope I haven't contradicted myself TOO many times here, but any and all recommendations, for either lunch or dinner, would be welcome.

Cheers!
