Hello all, spouse and I are going on a 7 day Trans-Atlantic crossing. Binging a highly rated (93 or 94+ ) rated bottle from our local warehouse club is cheaper than on board prices for equivilent rated wine. The Line charges a corkage fee and we are ok with that. What types of wine shall we bring to accompany our various meals? Using a recent "Top 100" list, I have purchased a "Kathryn Hall Cabernet", and a Nierpoort Port (after dinner) . What whites and other reds shall we bring ? Odds are good we will have Italian one night, Chicken/ Fish one night, Pork or more Beef . My knowledge is pretty limited . I think 4 bottles should do it- excluding the Port.. I guess what I am asking is this: If you were going on a crossing- what 4 or 5 bottles of wines would you bring to pair with dinner? thanks all for your kind and gracious wisdom.
