I'm in charge of picking our next "Guy's Night Out" for about 5-8 of my buddies. We go out each month a pick a different place from Balt to N. Va and Annapolis. Since we're mostly Montgomery Cty based and they're sick of driving to Baltimore (I wanted to Pick Roy's) I thought I'd concentrate on somewhere funky and different in DC. Any ideas? Trying to keep it to around $50 p/p, so ethnic food or American food is a possibility. Is Corduroy too much money? We COULD go over the $50 p/p by a bit if need be... Usually ethnic places are less than this. Reservation places usually work out better as we're guaranteed seating... I'd like to try Typhoon by Dupont Cr or Johnny's Half Shell but don't know if they're worth it OR if they take reservations. Any other sugggestions?

Thanks in advance. I need to put out an email soon them! In the past we've done Jackies of SS,MD, Maggianos, Smith and Wollensky, Kinkeads, Vidalias (yes, I know these places cost more but this time we're trying to do a semi budget evening), Marcels, Cafe LaRouche, Roy's Place Gaithersburg, Lebanese Taverna DC, La Auberge Francious, Rocklands BBQ, etc, etc.
