This one was yet another chowhound recommendation that was superb! Small place - I'd say reservations are definitely needed probably most nites. We spent about 10 minutes perusing the menu and decided there were too many apps that we wanted to try to get an entree so we had the pickled white anchovies w/ pink grapefruit - tart, salty and then sent off by the tangy grapefruit-wow!; a special salad w/ thick sugar cured canadian bacon and mushrooms - another winner; carpaccio - great - just need a hit of salt; sweetbreads and corn pudding- just a tad bland - a pinch of salt made this stand out; oysters Bienville - awesome - wonderful oyster taste just enhanced by the bread crumb/cheese mixture...a few glasses of the wine special and then splurged and split an intensely chocolate melt in your mouth moist brownie topped w/ peanut ice cream....heaven!!!! We spent about $80-90 w/ tip.
