25 Degrees report

Went in last night to check the latest burger joint in town; the results were good - very, very good. So you walk in and its a real slick place - red leather booths, mirrors, and some short skirts. You are given a choice of burger (sirloin, turkey, or veggie), then you pick a cheese ( I think there were six different kinds) for $1 or $2 depending on the kind. Then there are a list of toppings that include, bacon, shittake mushrooms, green chili, fried egg and others that I forgot for a $1. Then there are the free options, six different aioli's, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, bbq sauce. Lots and lots of options - sound like the Counter? Well, it is, BUT the beef is fantastic - juicy as all hell, I could have used a towel. The cheese options were very good, all of them looked like they could stand on their own on any cheese plate in town(no velveta here folks) and the bun - man oh man the BUN. They make their own buns and they work perfectly - they are soft but soak up the juices enough to keep the burger intact while you chomp away at the thing. I have always been a fan of Father's Office and I like the Pug burger at Hungry Cat as well but the sheer options that this place coupled with standout beef and bun make it a serious competitor for best burger in town.
