Sometimes, kebab artistry does not come in a restaurant. Such is the case with Anush Bakery and Market’s glorious lamb lule kebabs. Hughlipton says they’re absolutely delicious, and an incredible bargain.

Place your order a day ahead of time. The kebabs will be formed, skewered, and cooked over a fire. The price verges on ridiculous: $21 for a little over five pounds of lule kebab. Baba ghanoush and tabbouleh are both a little under $5 a pound. For about $30, you can feed at least 10 people. They’ve also got marinated meats and quail. Highly recommended, says Hughlipton.
