Call it the Comeback Kid. Baby goat, among other dishes, charmed Chowhounds last year at Aldea, the modern Portuguese restaurant from chef George Mendes. Then, its season over, goat vanished from the menu.
Now it’s back, in a different preparation but just as satisfying, rrems reports. A slab of stewed shoulder meat and a slice of belly come with carrot and La Ratte potato, accented with paprika and a streak of herb pistou. “Goat lovers should not miss this,” rrems urges.
