Ingredients (5)

  • 3 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Instant Yeast (one packet)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup water

Delicious Pita bread is best made at high temperatures. This recipe has been passed around my family and friends to the point that we all have it memorized and it has become a staple of parties.


  1. 1Mix everything together
  2. 2Let rise for three hours
  3. 3Cut and roll into flat pieces of bread. They can be large or small and keep their shape.
  4. 4Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes.
