Ingredients (8)

  • 1 med size chuck roast (you can use ground beef also)
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil to pan
  • 1 small bag of Green Giant frozen mixed vegtables (carrot, peas and green beans)
  • 1 package of garlic mash potatoes
  • 1 package of bisquick cheddar flavored biscuits
  • Season meat with Lawerys season salt and garlic salt ( to coat meat, before cooking)
  • ½ cup of red wine
  • 1 package stew season mix

This is a rich decadent dish to enjoy in the winter. I would love some feed back on this recipe.:-) My daughter loves it. lol


  1. 1Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
  2. 2Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to pan
  3. 3Heat fry pan to med high for 5-10 mins
  4. 4Cut chuck roast into bite size pieces. Season with Lawerys season salt and garlic salt. Cook tell all sides are brown.
  5. 5Add 1/2 cup of red wine and 1 1/2 cups of water to pan with meat.
  6. 6add the stew season mix
  7. 7Add frozen mixed veggies to the meat mixture
  8. 8Transfere the meat and sauce into a casserole dish (that can be put into the oven)
  9. 9Next make the instant mash potatoes
  10. 10layer potatoes over meat and veggie mixture
  11. 11put in the oven at 400 for 30mins
  12. 12take out of oven. after the 30 mins
    Then make bisquick biscuits and add on top of the potaoes layer and finish cooking at 450 for 15 mins (what the biscuit package says)
