Ingredients (7)

  • cooked elbow macaroni (Al Dente)
  • 3/4 lb. deli sliced American cheese
  • milk
  • 1 stick of butter
  • couple of dashes of Crystal Hot Sauce
  • white pepper
  • panko crumbs

This is so basic, I can’t believe no one else does this. Nothing fancy, just yummy.


  1. 1slowly heat milk and butter
  2. 2stir in cheese to melt
  3. 3add a bit of Crystal and pepper
  4. 4pour sauce over the elbows in to a greased baking dish
  5. 5mix a bit of melted butter into the panko crumbs (keep pretty dry) and spread panko on top of the mac ’n cheese
  6. 6Heat in 350 oven until crumbs start to brown and it is bubbling around the edges
