Zuni before the symphony. Not an original choice, but usually reliable. The food was fine. The service apologetic, which it needed to be.
White tablecloth restaurant. We saw a lot of the tablecloth. A half hour between the oysters and the next appetizer. The waiter explains . . . they only have one person at the appetizer station and it gets backed up when the open the upstairs and seat a lot of people at six. Which they do because of the opera and the symphony. Duh. Is this my problem?
It all worked out OK, but it wasn't as much fun as it should have been.
