Zojirushi rice cooking times

We've had a pretty basic National rice cooker for years, and just upgraded to a Zojirushi. Looking at the operating instructions, I was surprised by the estimated cooking times: 50 - 60 minutes for white rice and 85 - 110 minutes for brown rice. This is longer than our National takes for white rice, and than my (Food52) stovetop method for brown rice. It makes me feel like brown rice, in particular, won't be an after-work dinner possibility using this rice cooker. Anyone with experience with these rice cookers: are these times accurate? Thank you for your help.
