Stopped in for the first time in quite a while and got some takeout.

Tea smoked duck--very smoky, savory, salty, much the way I remember it.

Spicy beef fillet with vegetable (aka steamed beef on older menus): Tender beef slices and lightly crunchy Chinese cabbage in lots of sauce. More bean sauce than I remember, which I think is to the good (makes it pretty salty though). Not spicy enough for my taste (I like it blazing) but I should have remembered to ask for extra spicy.

Sweet and sour lotus root: Not the same prep as before. It used to be distinctly sweet and sour, with slivers of sweet red pepper and shreds of hot pepper (pretty much like Wang's sweet and sour turnip); now it's very lightly dressed with soy and sugar, with fried or toasted whole red chilis. Not bad at all, but I prefer the older style.
