Zoe's Kitchen in Harvard Square

Last week, a friend and I had a yummy experience at Zoe's Kitchen in Harvard Square, where the old Johnny's used to be. We wandered into the diner, expecting American comfort food. Instead, we found a place remniscent of NYC greek diners. We ordered the lamb special (came with a greek salad) and the chicken kabobs. Both came with a plate of rice and delicious tomatoey sauce. The kabobs came with a side of peas and carrots. The chicken kabobs had onions and peppers, but the lamb came alone. Both meats were tender. The food is very easy to eat + filling. It takes a while to get your bearings on the place because of the Johnny colors and booths and the eclectic menu. But I'd say give it a go if you're interested in a reasonably priced good meal + tender meat.
