Zaytoon for Middle Eastern Pizza

Haven't seen any postings for Zaytoon's on here before - and I feel it deserves to be seen.

Zaytoon's is a little (I stress little) place on the corner of Smith and Sackett - specializing in Middle Eastern Pizza. It's extremely inexpensive and it's also BYOB, which makes it even more affordable.

Their pizzas are worth the 20 minute walk to Smith for Sloper's like myself. I had a ground lamb, garlic and caper pizza that literally melted in my mouth, grilled on thick naan like bread. This is quite the opposite of a place like Franny's pizza (which is also great) but has such an interesting flair to it - it's the spices in the sauce and the bread - and it's $7.

The rest of the limited menu is made up of typical middle eastern fare - and I have had their falaffel which was excellent.

Just a quick little post to turn more people onto this place. If you're going down Smith and looking for something on the cheaper side but still fantastic and interesting - I highly recommend it.
