Yusho Sushi review - Newbury Park

david | Dec 10, 200309:27 PM

I stumbled upon this restaurant through a website covering conejo valley restaurants. it is located in newbury park near stella's burgers & IHOP off Borchard Rd. They serve an all-you-can-eat in one hour deal for $21.50 for lunch & $26.50 for dinner. The first question that came to mind was - how is the quality?

I've been twice for lunch. I'd say overall the quality is pretty good. Granted, it's not Sushi Nozawa quality. But they yellowtail is great, the house roll is great, and they serve you almost anything for the all you can eat deal (excepting specials). Both times the salmon has been subpar, but the yellowtail, rolls, tuna are all really good. The owner previously had a restaurant in Camarillo, and the other sushi chef (his brother I hear) formerly owned Cherry Blossom in Camarillo. Japanese owned & operated. Great deal, good sushi. I'm going back.
