Youtiao aka chinese crullers ?

vinouspleasure | Apr 30, 201506:09 PM

I always thought Youtiao was eaten with congee, tonight I picked up roast meat at big wong and saw two tables eating Youtiao with roast meat. It surfaced a memory of 15 years ago when a chinese friend had one with roast pork noodle soup at big wong.

It seems a little strange to be eating sweet bread with savory this a common practice?
